I BELIEVE:
God loves me and has a wonderful plan for my life. He offers a love that promises to always be there for me in the good, the bad and the ugly times of my life. Here in this life, he has proven to be the only person that has NEVER failed me. I have failed him many times, but he stands with me waiting for me to see that he will not change, walk away, or hurt me.
He loves you and wants to give you first the promise of a love that will never dissapoint, die, walk away or change. All of us will live eternally, God wants it to be with him in heaven. He also died for this opportunity for you and I to live forever with him rather than in Hell. If all I had been promised or would experience is the love, security and confidence that I have already received, this alone would have been worth it, yet I am promised so much more...and you can to.

When I invited Christ into my life I prayed a prayer like this:
Dear Jesus, I have done things that are wrong and just learned that those sins seperate me from you. I know that you choose me before I was even created, and died for my sins so that I can be made right and holy in your sight. I want you to be the ruler of my heart. I ask that you forgive me and live in my heart and life forever. Thank you for choosing me, today, I choose you. Thank you. Amen.

If you are still reading one of two things have happened: 1) If you do not choose Christ as your savior, I need you to realize you are making a choice...a choice against Christ. Unfortunately we live in a world that tells us "there are lots of Gods" and "there is plenty of time to make a decision"...neither of which are true. You must realize no choice, is a choice and I'm certain no one knows the exact moment they will die there fore cannot prepare at the last moment.
Or 2) you have just prayed a prayer in your own words to invite Christ into your life and heart. Welcome! to the family of God. Thank God now for saving you, for permanently sealing you within His heart locked behind a wall that satan can not touch.
Growing In Christ
Your faith and relationship with God is based on fact, not feeling. For the moment, you may have experienced a great rush of relief from your burdens and sins being lifted and I praise God with you...but do not be fooled into believing that you must live in an emotion to be saved. I serve Christ on the days I don't "feel" like it, and on the days when there are no emotionally ecstatic feelings. Instead I love and serve him based on fact in the scriptures that gives me a strong, still, quiet assurance in my heart and life even when the world treats me poorly, I've messed up big time, or my world appears to be falling apart.
I encourage you to read your Bible daily, if you don't have one get one...pray for one, but get one. Spend time alone with God while you read, talk to him, praise him, then be still and learn to hear Him. He will reveal himself through his word. You maybe tempted in trying to learn more to gleen information from others, which can be good, but ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, make what they say line up with the Bible. If they can not tell you where it says what they are saying in the Bible, then throw the information away. Then those that can give you scripture to support what they say, go look it up for yourself, read the chapter(s) before and after the verse and ask the Holy Spirit (God within us) to give you truth in what you are reading. Do not be a wave on the sand, know what you know by checking it out yourself.
