Taking Responsibility for Educational Choices

Ever wonder what you could accomplish,
If you'd risk being all you could be?
Isaiah 40:31 ~ But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.

Taking Responsibility for Educated Choices
|
TREC Academy is a God inspired creation in response to needs of home schoolers, struggling students and students who wish to excel academically. Our personal beliefs have compelled us to offer an opportunity for learning where family involvement is still practiced and faith in Christ is the backbone of the classroom. Here, students are taught to their individual needs in a smaller classroom setting. We believe every student needs a team to best support their efforts mentally, emotionally, academically, spiritually, and socially. TREC was created to return to basic, solid principles such as:
- Strong Academics
- Spiritual growth
- Learning how to learn
- The value of a job well done
- Social etiquette
- Internal discipline
- Sportsmanship
- Peer respect
- Self-motivation
- High Standards of Involvement
- Parent involvement
- Community Involvement
In short, to be all Christ intends and created each of us to be and to NEVER settle for second best!

Philosophy of TREC
TREC believes it takes a team to build a solid citizen. With Christ as the strength, the parents as consistent stable nuturing curators, and myself as a supporting resourceful director; we believe TRECers can reach their God-given potential. Each part of the team is vital to their success; drop one end and growth will be interrupted. TREC works to keep this team working strong for the benefit of your student.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble-makers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify, or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Hebrews 10:24 ~ And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works...
Mission Statement
In a world that requires mankind to move at breakneck speed, with advancements in every conceivable energy-requiring event, man is often the least prepared for survival.
We believe God has given us tools to equip our lives to embrace the abundant life, empowering us with the Holy Spirit and an “owner’s manual.” We further believe He has blessed all who call him savior with an unique gift for demonstrating His love, and that it must be used to draw us nearer to him. We believe every person should look to a mentor to be trained and in turn has the responsibility to train someone younger on the events ladder of life. We choose to use our talents to be a part of this cycle.
We desire to equip others to live the abundant life, by presenting opportunities to develop good stewardship in regards to time management, parenting, money, education, talents, and spiritual growth. When people are systematically shown how to “eat an elephant a spoonful at a time,” their lives are empowered; they make better choices. And often the best “students” are the ones that have chosen poorly in the past.
We dare to risk it all for Christ’s sake so we might know his face. One day when the roll is called up yonder, we want to hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
